Nutrition Blog
It seems that recently, being a vegan is more a new trend than a healthy way of eating(for someone).People often follows others ideals that seems to be the latest fashions instead of analyzing thoroughly if ; Is that what they really want ? I have often heard people says to be vegan, but to the questions ;What is a vegan? How do you replace the proteins and vitamins that are in other foods and in a balanced diet???!! They can`t even answer you because they don`t know what to say. They don`t know the risks and/or benefits that go against them. They only follow a trend.
That`s why I decided to talk in my nutrition blog about this topic because is something that I have been thinking often recently.
*The future for me is certainly in favor of the industry, since people have a hectic lifestyle, where at least one out of three meals is consumed in fast foods or restaurants. This thing is really leading to weight gain not only in adults but in children too.
End what better excuse for the food industry to take advantage from this opportunity. Now days we can see that on the menu of most of the restaurants there are more varieties of dishes for vegans and vegetarians.
I remain, however, with the idea that to be healthy is not necessary to give up most of the food. Just follow a balanced diet, rich in fiber and low in fats.
" And as we say in Italy, a glass of red wine at lunch has never killed anyone"!!!!
ENJOY LIFE

*I choose this photo from Health Canada Food Guide websites and one of the reasons that in my opinion determines the credibility of this website is the variety of ingredients and the variety of food that they suggest you should eat daily, is balanced.
*Second is an official website from the government of Canada.
*Third it has a long credible history from 1942 when for the first time was created from Health Canada organization.
*One the other hand we have different websites(see below the one i choose) that talk about healthy foods and balanced diets ,but the first thing that we see is that are only theories based on opinions from non professional people.
*Second thing is just a website made together by others websites or blogs and just written as they found or improperly summarized.
*Third thing that I totally disagree is the fact that they say to eat more snacks and frozen vegetables.
